For the last 12 years he has served continuously in senior managerial roles on complex infrastructure projects developed and operated by inter-agency consortia or public-private partnerships, and which were in the majority of cases funded by means of private finance. His experience includes managing the interdisciplinary interfaces in large infrastructure development teams encompassing such divergent aspects as statutory consents, communications, legal, financial, commercial, procurement, technical, project management, and risk & change management and mitigation. He has 29 years of overall professional experience in the infrastructure sector on facilities totalling several billion Euro in capital cost and covering the sectors of energy, environment, transport, water, and land & property development. This experience spans all phases of infrastructure projects from planning and development, through commissioning and operations, to decommissioning, and has included managerial level employment with governmental agencies, private consultancy companies, and construction contractors.
